Good Morning

Good morning, I hope you are all in good health.

I don’t really have much to report, but thought I would do a quick update.

The editing on my book is going well, I probably would have finished it by now if I hadn’t decided to change the dialect of one of my main characters, every time I read it I heard him talking a certain way, so it just wouldn’t have been right not to have the dialogue reflecting it.  Oh well, there is about twenty more chapters to go, sadly I am averaging two a week at the moment, it seems I am not getting the time. Whilst doing this I still have to check chapter 17 onwards for any accidental misuse of the word that, it seems a bad habit of mine to use it sometimes instead of who or which, I certainly won’t be making that mistake again in my next books. Quite honestly I am really looking forwards to this one being completely done, book two, three and four are all pestering me for editing and I have read the first one so much I could possibly even recite it backwards.  Not to mention that I have another story that is just begging to be written, I seem to have so much need to create at the moment, but so little time in which to do it.

My little man turned the big two on Wednesday, we had a nice little family get together, he seemed to really enjoy himself, I can’t believe he is already two, it seems to have flown by.

On the note of my son, I am finding myself a little annoyed. A month ago now he had an MRI scan, now my doctors were sent a letter within a week saying the results were back, not what they were, and that the results would be discussed by the specialist with the parents.  Weeks later still nothing so I ring them and am promised a phone call.  A few days later I get an appointment through for April 1st.  So I won’t know the results until 3 and a half months after it was done, and over three months after they have been received.  I am taking it to mean that nothing was found, but I would have really appreciated a quick call or letter to tell me the results, even if a follow up appointment was needed that I had to wait for, it just seems a bit mean to keep people waiting that long, let alone keeping the results to themselves so I can’t even get information from our G.P.

Anyway, that’s all I have for this week, I am hoping to get a little more editing done later today, maybe I will finish checking my that’s, I can but hope.  I hope you all have a fantastic week.
